Mulde Viewpoint: Snow, Rhododendrons Near Pokhara

Led a Skybase team trip — all 11 of us (yes, eleven!). It was spring, so the days were pleasantly cool and the hike felt easy throughout. The rhododendrons were just beginning to drop their petals when we arrived — but above a certain altitude, the blooms gave way to heavy snow. Not crowded at all compared to Poon Hill

Personally one of my favourites — easy, quick, and very rewarding. Trails are well-marked with rest stops every 1–3 hours. Locals are friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a less-crowded alternative to the Poon Hill circuit.
